Made by Andrew Jones at Field Recordings Winery in Paso Robles, this Washington State sourced Sauvignon Blanc is racy and focused with a compex bouquet of lemon-lime citrus, apple and pear. On the palate a New Zealand style grassiness intermixes with the same rich fruit notes from the nose. Finishing with cleansing acidity, fresh and juicy on its own, but also perfect with summer salads or grilled seafood.
Ancient Lakes sits on the western edge of the Columbia Basin near the town of Quincy. Here the complex soil patterns of basalt and sedimentary bedrock, topped by Quincy loam and windblown loess, support a number of incredible white grapes.
