Located in the middle of the Ebro River Valley and the bordering mountains, Campo de Borja, and the surrounding province of Navarra is known for its production of old vine Garnacha (Grenache). Bodegas Borsao makes no exception to the tradition, as they are known for their Garnachas worldwide. This bottling represents the only white wine in their range, as a elegant blend of Chardonnay, and the aromatic Macabeo (Viura).
The wine maintains light, floral freshness, characteristic of Macabeo while mellowed out by round Chardonnay. After fermented in stainless steel, the wine spends a short 3 months in neutral French barrels to create the pleasant texture that we love in this wine! Crack open a bottle of this beauty if you like notes of ripe pineapple, sweet lime, yellow apple, and the taste of Spanish sunshine!
Varietals: Chardonnay and Macabeo
