This playful skins driven wine hails from sunny Gisborne, dominantly farmed by the Maestro that is James Millton and his team but also fleshed out with PG and Chard that we fermented in our huge Totara cask. Skins work floats all the way up to 4 months contact but on average gentle extraction has delivered a wine of juicy density and immediate appeal. Aromatic varieties dominate and tempt the palate which is pleased with a dry chalky feel and no hint of sweetness. Bottled raw with no adds.
