Catena Malbec Appellation Vista Flores is composed of 100% varietal wines blended from vineyards of Vista Flores district in Tunuyán.  The result is a wine with a pure expression of a unique terroir. 30-year-old vines gives red and black fresh fruits flavors, sweet texture and  character. Cold nights lend bright, crisp acidity and the intense sunshine give explosive floral aromatics and concentrated structure. 

This wine goes through cold maceration for 2-6 days at 50ºF (10ºC). The juice is then fermented for 8-16 days with a post-fermentation maceration of 2-12 days. 12 months in French oak barrel (35% new).

Tasting Notes: This wine unleashes a barrage of flavors—huckleberry, wild herbs and currants—that lose steam as the tannins take over, lasting on those sticky malbec tannins. It’d be fun to play with pairing ideas, so open it at the beginning of a dinner party and try it alongside everything from cheeses and olives to the main roast.
