Christoph Hoch hails from Hollenburg, Austria on the south side of the Danube River and is the 12th generation winemaker in his family. Inspired by the “active” chalk that is found within his vineyards that is comparable to that of the soils found in the Cote de Blancs, Hoch took it upon himself to make sparkling wines and spent time in Champagne to learn everything he could.
