Mas Petit is Pares Balta's most popular young red wine. After starting to make Blanc de Pacs in the 1980s, Joan Cusiné decided to marry the smoothest Cabernet Sauvignon with the most delicate and aromatic Garnacha from the Penedés. The result, a velvety wine, full of fruit, but with the maturity that comes from its time in oak. The blend changes every year depending on the terroir.
Tasting Notes: Medium intensity cherry color. Predominance of red fruits on a soft background of toast and vanilla. Smooth and gentle on the palate, with velvety and round tannins. Reminiscences of red fruits such as cherries intertwined with hints of vanilla.
The wine reveals aromas of black fruits, liquorice and sweet spices. The palate is broad, rich, without being heady and enough freshness to keep everything in balance.
Made with organic grapes. Suitable for vegans.
