A beautiful blend consisting of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The Cabernet offers plush red fruits, great structure, and pretty floral aromatics. The Syrah contributes powerful spice, opulent texture, and robust notes of rich cranberry, plum, and smoked meats. 

Grapes for this wine are sourced from warm sites in Southern France thats have predominantly gravelly and volcanic soils. Even with the heightened ripening that occurs in this region, Le Ballon maintains balance and acidity.
